Iquitos: ayahuasca, shamans and wild Amazon

Immagine
Iquitos is the largest city in the world not reachable by land. It is right into the middle of the Peruvian Amazon. You need to fly there or go by boat. I took the boat. Iquitos itself is not that good. The Belem and the Bellavista markets are the best in town. But if you want to go wild you will need to book a tour. And you know how I don't like it. Been there twice actually. My favourite as there is a massive rock where to jump from, a waterfall and also some natural hotsprings pools. What else you need to enjoy? During my stay in Tarapoto I've discovered a community of people living in the middle of the jungle, working on their happiness with workshops. The founder is a Greek guy but now about 15 people live there. They are literally building up everything fro...
